Team Learn to Earn Dayton joined Blairwood Elementary earlier this week, distributing Reading Is Lit! literacy kits to Kindergarten, First and Second Grade students and their families. Each box features a grade-level aligned book and multiple hands-on learning activities and engaging videos for families to support literacy at home.
Beginning in 2023, ThinkTV and Learn to Earn Dayton collaborated to pilot kits for out-of-school use that encourage family engagement through literacy activities. We have been thrilled with the positive reception the kits have received from educators, students, and families.
