Advancing Outcomes
Strengthening systems to help students succeed

Cradle-to-career strategies remain the heart of Learn to Earn Dayton, as we take thoughtful and strategic steps toward the goal of a more educated workforce.

Learn to Earn Dayton recognizes that to reach our big goal, we must build a community where every student thrives. Advancing cradle-to-career outcomes require strategies that support students from their classrooms to out-of-school time programs and in their neighborhoods.
With a data-driven focus on educational outcomes and a commitment to coalition-building, we pilot programs and drive policies to positively affect academic outcomes at six critical benchmarks: Kindergarten Readiness, Third Grade Reading, Eighth Grade Math, High School Graduation, Postsecondary Enrollment, and Postsecondary Completion.
While stand-alone programs may have excellent outcomes, isolated approaches can not move the needle on overall educational attainment and achievement. Learn to Earn Dayton has re-committed efforts to a two-generational, place-based model that examines the environment around the family in working to educate the child.
